burnout and coaching.

“But I can’t be burning out, I don’t even work that many hours.”

I hear this a lot.

But burnout isn’t just about how long you work. It’s about how drained you feel, emotionally and mentally, no matter how much time you actually spend at your laptop.

Most people come to coaching because something feels off. They’re ready for change but need a bit of support to figure out what that looks like.

And often, we can get into it right away, reflect on what’s working, dream up what could be different, and start mapping the steps to get there.

But sometimes, the first step is to pause and create space for a little “health comes first” conversation.

Because if that unfulfilled feeling is showing up as detachment, like not caring about your projects or how you get things done, and it’s keeping you up at night or making you upset with the people around you… those could be burnout symptoms.

I’ve worked with many people who thought they were doing okay, but actually, they were exhausted and disconnected.

Coaching can be a wonderful support if you’re dealing with burnout.

It can help you feel excited about what’s next and motivated to push through the tough parts of recovery.

But it shouldn’t be the only support you rely on. Your health is too important to not involve professional care.

If any of this sounds familiar, maybe it’s time to check in with yourself. You don’t have to figure it out alone.
