coaching is different, and that’s a good thing.
I once convinced a few sustainable resorts in Bali to let me stay for free in exchange for enhancing their marketing strategies.
So I’ve never really doubted my skills at selling something if I genuinely believe in its value.
But coaching is a little different. I can’t offer a neatly packaged solution or a clearly defined outcome. There’s no shiny report at the end, no catchy website copy to show off.
Instead, my clients are signing up for something far less concrete, and much more personal.
They’re signing up to take a sincere look at what’s working and what isn’t. To explore the kind of impact they want to have, not just in their work, but in their relationships and their communities.
It’s a process filled with messy feelings, lots of questioning, and more than a few moments of discomfort.
And it only works if they fully show up for it. If they allow themselves to be open, to reflect, and to grow. If they lean into the work, even when it’s tough.
And when they do show up for it, things begin to shift.
They begin to trust themselves more, their lives feel more aligned, more spacious, and they start stretching into the version of themselves they were always meant to become.
I wish I could give everyone a small taste of what it feels like to reach the end of a coaching process.
But until then, I’ll keep doing my best with words. And if you are curious, don’t hesitate to reach out.
